Hey peeps!
I received a mail from Keio University yesterday that I was accepted in their IGP program beginning fall 2012. Keio U plans to recommend me for a MEXT scholarship and they have asked me to confirm by 13th Feb that I definitely plan to attend Keio U this fall. If I reply yes, I will get recommended for the scholarship. If I reply no, I will still get admitted but will lose out on the scholarship. Besides Keio U, I had applied to 2 other Universities, TITech and University of Tokyo. I am planning to wait a day or two before replying, in case the other Universities also get in touch with me. I plan to reply yes in any case though.
While surfing the internet to find out the ranking of Japanese Universities, I found this list compiled by the "Toyo Keizai" magazine. Can anybody tell me how accurate these rankings are. I will post the wikipedia link here. The faults of the ranking system are also mentioned. Please tell if these rankings are good or inaccurate.
