Searching my collection I found a meiji edition of this book (1901) that gave the correct title, 碁立初心抄 Godate Shoshinshou, and original publishing year of 1673. With that I found I already had the original volume 2, with date 1673 on the last page, unidentified, since without a preface or title strip. So with extreme luck now the original edition of two books is complete.
The website on go history, mignon.ddo.jp, seems to have gone. Om my off line copy it says for 1673:
碁立初心抄 Godate Shoshinshou.
"Go Primer". Anonymous. Part of the contents of the Kan'ei [1624-1644] edition of Gengen Gokyou added to the 1607 edition of Hon'inbou Jouseki Tsukurimono to give 208 tsumego problems, but with answers added for beginners. The publisher was based in Kyoto .
1673 (Kanbun 13)
2 volumes (upper/lower), 70 pages
Publisher: Kikuya Shichiroemon
