Looking at this blog, last year LoA was signed at 5 March. According to mutnam86's post, the letter was sent 2 days ago so we can conclude that it's the same for this year. From my experience of buying things from Japan, delivery time to Indonesia will be around 4-6 work days to my city if they use EMS as the shipping method. Hopefully I will receive the letter by next week.

in the email sent at the end of January, they said i was on the waiting list. I think today's letter is not different from that email. this time, it is sent from president of titech.

In your blog, they said you were selected as a MEXT scholarship student, but mine said i am a candidate for MEXT scholarship student. So I will have a chance to get a scholarship if and only if there is some people withdraw their rights for MEXT scholarship.

It's not my blog actually, it's someone else's blog who was already accepted last year. I haven't received the letter.
But what I want to know is whether you also got the three letters (Letter of Acceptance, Important Notice, and Pledge Statement) or not.

Yes, there are three letters-loa, important notice and pledge statement.

It seems that the admission division sent all of the document by 5 March. Maybe it depends on your postal service. I'm sure it has already arrived in your country.

i think this is the final result. congratulations again. the only thing you need to do is waiting for the official notification from mext. although i did not get mext, i will go to titech. it seems that we may meet at titech this October.

Yeah, as quizer said, you should've received an email from your prospective advisor by late January about your status.

How about you quizer, did you got any email besides the confirmation ones?

When I asked him again about my possibility he said that,
"You have passed the entrance exam as a best five student of fifty applicants. And we have recommended twenty applicants as candidates for the MEXT scholarship.
So the possibility might be very high."

but anything still on the knees of the gods before I get the official result about it.
