Seeing as though this thread has had some responses - Can I ask if anyone knows any car dealers/agents that export to Australia and that they have dealt with directly with in Japan that are legitimate? Thx in advance Mia :)
We use Integrity Exports.

I have spoken to them and I enjoy talking to them, they are patient and do not put any pressure and are cooperative. I just don't know if they are legit.
And i can't find them on jumvea.or.jp , i think this means it is a small company?
Did you order a car from them?

Please post more details: website, contact history, why you doubt their legitimacy, etc.
Thomas, what would you advise someone who has sent them money and they are not responding after confirmation of receipt of money? Thank you

@Kinyangu, how did you remit payment? Was the recipient in Japan?

In another thread, it was suggested to contact your embassy in Japan. They would be able to advise you on what (legal) steps to take.

I know this is an old post but Japanese customs data doesn't bring up anything on shipments of cars or their name.

Any new development on this thread? Even Ranger went quiet, did he receive his car or not? He said that he had the shipping details

My dealer told me here in Maine my Subaru Forester may not leave Japan for another 2 to 4 months , so I won't receive it until next year.

I have always liked the Forester (even the older versions which looked as if they were designed by a Russian automotive bureau). It seems to be popular in the US.

We had a Subaru Baja almost 20 years ago. I haven't seen one in 10 years probably. It's weird how cars are pretty common and then all of a sudden they disappear from the face of the earth. Or at least U.S. Maybe they were all shipped to Russia or Middle East.
