Last Thursday (and I know now why Arthur Dent never got used to Thursdays... :D), I found out that the title company I went through to sell a rental house failed to inform me that they did not put it as a 1031 Exchange, so now I'm going to be hit with major capital gains tax because they didn't let me know of a minor detail at the time (though they are denying this now...., and it's too late to change anything as I have since learned). This was in the morning....

Then in the afternoon, the owner of the house next to our current residence that we were planning on buying suddenly died in front of us while going to the owner's accountant's office from a heart attack... :(

Then lastly, I had to go to the dentist later that afternoon.... :D

Things just come in threes....as I have learned....

I hope you never have to experience something like this...ever...

hmmm....come to think of it, last month, I had my third attack of kidney stones within the past 6 years....and 6 is also a multiple of 3.....

I think there's a conspiracy... :D

life...don't talk to me about life.... :D🙂

Take heart in the deepening gloom that your dog is finally getting enough cheese.

den4! I have missed you!

I'm sorry things have been less-than-peachy lately. It seems like you always take things in stride, though. Wish I could be more like that.

The male P.E. teacher at my school just had a round with kidney stones. One got stuck in his urethra and they had to do some major surgery on a very sensitive area. It sounded extremely painful. They had to put in a shunt. I hope yours wasn't as bad.

Anyway, I hope things will start looking up.

Take care...

Actually the only dog I owned when I was a kid was stolen...so I hope the new owner gave him his cheese :D

The first kidney stone attack they gave me pain killers...only to learn that those pain killers exasperated the constipation that resulted as an aftereffect of the kidney stones :D
The second kidney stone attack they followed up with surgery and added a stent...and that was extremely uncomfortable...to say the least 😊
The last time I was taking some herbal medicine recommended by a Chinese born Californian herbs specialist, and as a result it wasn't that bad....although the constipation was the worst part of the experience....😌
I have since learned that the Western doctors, since they utterly ignore eastern medicine and rely only upon western chemical pills to eliminate the problem are still in the dark ages on kidney stone info....
not that there is total ignorance in medical science, but in some areas they fail to take into account the research already done in the East...
or Asia....
such is life....:(

:p

I thought Western doctors just advised drinking more water and not eating meat
:D
(well, diet did actually help the only person I've ever known with it....but apparently yours isn't the preventable kind, eh ?). Geez, what a ***** of an experience, den4. I hope at least you have a new steady job (with good insurance) :p

Take care of you ! And stop by for an update anytime you feel like it....😌

🙂 I was laid off from Zeerocks (Xerox) in January along with some other guys in our testing of prototype printers as a new year's greeting from the company :D
I like it when the company lets you know just how much they value your presence 😌 🙂 :D
life is grand in that way... :D

Western doctors advise drinking more water and eating less of certain foods, but if I followed their recommendations, then I can only eat tasteless gruel....
then I found that some western doctors and more eastern docs recommend a diet less in oily stuff, that is the cause of most kidney stones.....as the body is not able to properly digest the oily or greasy foods when it is taken in too much...so that makes better sense to me...drinking more water does nothing...as oil and water don't mix :D
but I know nothing :D

Hopefully.....

humor has always been a big part of your life, it will help you through these tough times. Having health problems can really get you down mentally and physically; you begin waking up each day wondering what will go wrong today. Hopefully the streak of bad luck will turn into a long and happy time of good luck soon. Take care guy, we care.

Uncle Frank
