The Snake and The Rat

Tokyo's Mutsugoro Okuku Zoo
there was a ratsnake named Aochan.
With frozen meat he'd have nothing
to do
So they gave him a hamster named
Gohan
But though she was a rodent and he
a snake
He spared her life and friends they
did make.
For as they say "love conquers all"
But, I ask,.. if two animals so unlike
each other become friends and love
one another
why can't we all?
