What's new

The Kelly Family

They used to quite big in the 70's, with "David's Song".
In the 90's they had a comeback, with songs like "Fell in love with an Alien" and the actually rather good "What's the matter you people".

Currently they're only popular in Germany, i think. :)

They're not Japanese, so i'm not really interested in them.

/me wonders why he knows so much about them then...

Aren't they originally Irish?

/me wonders about Twisted too. :)

Reminds me of the David Hazelhoff records my brother listened to when he was very young. Now he even denies to know any person by that name, lol.

A few years ago, when a had VIVA (before they moved to new sattelite), I saw many of their videos. Since, there's no more VIVA available here :( I did not see them for a long-long-long (and so on) time.
However, their songs grabbed me in some way...
The only song I have is "I will be your bride" from "Neu bei Viva" CD. And I must say I like it! 👍

P.S. Sure that CD is pirate... Do you think it's bad for the Kelly's?

Kelly Family Comeback 2017

... all I have to say is, I'm sure R. Kelly was their big brother!

Are you taliking about "Ned Kelly" gang, the (in)famous Australian bushrangers of the 19th century ?

Kelly is indeed an Irish name.
