Here are some what I made, I will post more later, cuz it's pretty late here and I'm reely tired.

Humm????
I always worry someone will get upset about using a "copyright" image as an avatar. I change mine once a day at least, hoping I won't get caught. Once under the gallery section, some of my old Japanese art work got JREF in trouble and it had to be removed. Internet law and rules are sure hard to understand and seem to change everyday? I have never yet learned to link to other pages for pictures and things. I download them and work them over in Photoshop or my GIF program. Three times I got viruses in avatars that destroyed my hard drive XP program, even though I had updated Norton protection. I always worry about pictures/sigs/avatars using up too much of JREF's resources and slowing the forum down.

Haha, copyright is something that I never in the least bother about! I probably should... >_< XD
I really don't do much at all to my avvies to manipulate them... I just snip off images that I like... I don't have time to faff about on photoshop making them look all purdyful, and I don't much like taking ready-made ones either. Hence mine are all quite plain and boring. T_T
One of my few avvies that isn't Kozi! haha.
Used on a forum with a slightly bigger size limit than Jref.
... and this has got to be my funniest :
(for those who don't know, Haruhiko Ash was Kozi's bandmate)

I tend to use screenshots I take from video clips these days to make mine and change them with PSP. I also don't see why it would be copyright infringement when you use them for personal use and not claim them as your own when made by someone else or use them for commercial purposes...

I guess someone owned a few of the paintings I posted and did not want to share them with anyone else.(I think they threatened to sue JREF in court?) I must have got them off a website that had them for sale before the person bought them. Seems to me, if they are on the internet and not protected from being copied, you shouldn't complain when they are copied and used. There are several ways to put pics on the internet for others to see, that DON'T allow them to be copied, or you can "watermark" them, etc. .I figure if you use something off the internet and are not trying to make money from it, what's the harm, but some have a much more tight-a$$ view on their ideas and work being used.

I've been collecting them off the internet for 3 years now. Funny, many are in E-Mails sent to me . It is not without danger, 2 or 3 times I downloaded viruses that messed my PC up big time, even though I had PC protection. I use a program by ULEAD to change the size and KB space they use. I now have about 2000 and find a few each day to add.I break them down into different catagories to make them easy to find. I try to look for ones that are a little funny or are related to Japan.
By the way, if someone wants a special avatar, they can PM me to see if I have something they would like. If you have one you like, but it is too small or big, maybe I can help you with it. My avatars all all animated ones.

thank you for answer... I have only slightly over 100 avatars on my computer 
a lot of them taken from this forum.. most of them I never use, but save it just because of some reason...
seems that you are really given yourself in it.. and all of us notice that! good work..! i always look forward to your new avatar not that i like them all.
p.s. I think it is a wolf... but looks like a raccoon a bit
