Hi everyone -
I have two questions:
1) Is there a name or Japanese word that is used to refer to figures that can only be bought from specific temples in Japan? I'm talking about things like this figure, a golden tanuki in the maneki-neko pose, which can be bought at Chingodo Shrine in Asakusa:

I guess another example might be the Uso Bird figures that various temples sell for the usokae shinji (うそ替え神事) festival.

2) I am living in Nagoya now, and am trying to locate some temples or shrines that sell similar objects (besides the temples here that take part in the uso bird exchange), but have had no luck. I've tried to Google all the obvious terms, but all I find are posts about shuin cho (朱印帳). I can't even find any websites that state that you can buy that tanuki at Chingodo (I originally read about it in a book). Does anyone know of any temples in or around Nagoya that sell things like this? I'm interested in any unique figure or object that you can't really get anywhere else besides the temple.

Thanks!
