A mighly modified Pilgrim Bulldog kit car. Rover 3.9 V8 @ approx 390 BHP, vehicle wight less than 700 Kg. It had a removeable hard top, and won gold in European endurance rallies for two years running. Then my father sold it to a guy who promptly crashed it taking it round Brands Hatch.

Age: 31
Blood type: No clue, really ought to check with my mum

Hates: Hmm I try not to hate, it's such a negative emotion, but I dislike jealousy and dishonesty. And I don't mean the occasional white lie, cause we're all bound to tell those. And a bit of jealousy is fine, but when people actually really hate someone else for having something, now that's bad. And there's the little things, like loud people, drunk folks, chores around the house I don't like, getting up early - which unfortunately just what I have to do everyday lol ...
Talents: Hmm sometimes I think I'm an Oracle, until I run into some stuff I don't know of which there is plenty in the wide wide world . Then I have this thing that makes people want to confide in me. I like to listen to people and my friends know that I don't gossip around.
Goals: Just lead a good life, which is tough enough as it is. And some minor goals like visiting Japan one day (hopefully next year), find the right man, and all that heheh.
Food: Chinese, sushi, pastas, and fries! I love fries! Not eating those too often though.
Drink: Water, water and more water. Sometimes a light (aka diet) beverage or tea, but on the whole, water.
Way to relax: Read, watch a movie, spend time with good friends, playing that game FateLords, and sometimes, just doing nothing.
Today's hot phrase: Arghh get your hands of my planet! (again that FateLords game)
Today's favourite thing: My new Palm Tungsten E which I had to buy after the demise of my old Palm V
Speed record: just 192 KPH in my dad's car on the German Autobahn

DOB: July 7th, 1973 (I'll leave the age calculation up to you, just don't call me old )
I was born in Belgium, but I'm Dutch. (Yes, Belgium and Holland are two different countries)
Started getting interested in Japan when I read Clavell's Shogun .
Currently living in Leiden, The Netherlands where I'm supposed to be studying Japanese at the University. Spent 2 years in Japan (one year near Nagasaki, one near Izumo)
During my time in the army (drafted) I also spent 8 months in Bosnia as a truckdriver.
Hobbies include: Soundtracks, computers, games and parachuting (though I haven't jumped out of an airplane for ages).
I love different cultures and new experiences.
Right now I've got a job application running with the Dutch Army as a Japanese/Dutch/English translator in Iraq. If I get the job you can read about it on my website (follow the link in my signature).
At this moment I'm the webmaster of The Foreigner - Japan. Me and 2 of my mates have set it up about a year ago. Not doing too bad, and we're getting a fair amount of visitors which is always nice, at least you don't feel you're doing it for nothing. My tasks are basically keeping the site up and running, designing the graphics, and overall improving the site. I'm also creating the Japanese 101 course here.
