忠 does mean "loyalty" and 貴 does mean "honor," in the sense that single kanji have a meaning in Japanese. (edit: Well, primitive nouns like "rock" and "water" excluded.) I'm not certain on the third character but the closest I've found is 尊 which according to Jisho means "revered, valuable, precious, noble, exalted," all of which have a different connotation than "respect" in my opinion. Perhaps it has this meaning in Chinese.
At any rate, getting foreign words permanently etched onto your body and then asking to get their meaning confirmed later is not a great idea. Just in case anyone was unsure on that.
