Tang signature identification

Hello everyone ! It's anyone here who can identify the signature on the tuska from the image attached ? Thank you in advance for any reply

Hello - the tang on your sword says 山本正雄 (Yamamoto Masao)

It's a generic name, meant to look like a swordsmith's signature, but there is no such swordsmith. Yamamoto Masao is almost as generic as John Smith. I'm afraid the sword is most likely not a Japanese made sword.
