So the Colts are the champs.

Any thoughts on the game?

I listened to it on Eagle 810, much to my surprise, as I thought AFN had stopped all sports broadcasts.

I kept hearing about the rain and poor field conditions in the first half, and then somebody asked Don Shula during the halftime show what he thought and he said it wasn't a good game. He said the rain wasn't that bad and weather shouldn't be considered a factor. Didn't hear much about the weather after that.

Ole` Coach Shula was seriously critical about those players. Still the coach's eye.

So did you think the game was that sloppy?

Yeah, kind of entertaining at the first quarter, then it kind of got boring. Weather-wise, it was kind of hard and I think had some factor on the 7 or so fumbles in the game.

I think it was in some way manipulated as the game was coming to an end and the Colts were in 4th and 6 and decided to go for it. Surprisingly, the over/under line was at 47 points just before the game, so I think someone, whether the owner or someone with some influence, gambled with this wager. The game ended at 46 points. Good thing it worked for me, as I won the parlay with Colts and under.

If that 4th and 6 situation was going to be a non-factor as to determining the winner it may have only been the mentor didn't want to show up his protégé -- speaking of the coaches, of course.

Yeah, when I think about it that way, yeah, it must be true. I just feel sorry for all the people that bet on the over line.

The game was very sloppy, particularly early. Indy seemed to get their act together in the 2nd half in terms of turnovers, but Vinateri missing a kick? Definitely sloppy.

Grossman and Kreutz just couldn't adjust the snap properly. Fumbles were common in the game and twice there was back to back turnovers. Definitely sloppy overall.

Well... I am Patriots fan. I hoped that colts lost. But, they won fair. Grossman played like %&#*(sorry). Man..I don't think he will be QB for the Bears next year. ☝

As much as I don't like Grossman, he is still a young quarterback and I think he will remain the Q....until he pulls a Drew Bledsoe from the beginning throught the season.
