Just to let you know, I would like to apologize for the many subsequent posts on this. My posts here were not intended to spam or bump, but to update on this. No one else other than Frank and me (and a few others) has been contributing to this thread, anyway.
Notwithstanding, this could be another of those Super Bowls that goes down to the wire, as always. This will be a memorable one, especially for the winning team.
Right now, that winning team is New England, which just scored a TD...and a 2-point conversion!

This gives me flashbacks of Super Bowl XXXVI. Adam Vinatieri kicked a field goal to win this game. Deja vu might happen all over again, and the auspices couldn't have been more interesting. Vinatieri has never kicked a FG in Reliant Stadium this year. He might break the ice hear, and give us Deja Vu.

Not intended to spam or bump? lol... You made a total of 26 posts during the span of the game. You even went on to tack on eight more posts after I had explicitly asked you (and nicely I might add) not to do so again until after the game. Anyone who had even a remote interest in the game could have just as easily tuned in themselves or checked on Yahoo Sports for instance, so your rationale of "I just wanted to update people" is unjustified.
Furthermore, re: "No one else other than me and Frank replied..." is no reason for you to constantly bump your own thread. If everyone felt the need to reply to their own threads by tacking on 25+ posts themselves because they didn't generate responses, then our bandwidth problem would be even more severe than it is atm. Frankly, I am dissapointed because I thought you had better common sense than this but apparently I was wrong. For someone who only registered a couple weeks ago yet are averaging 23.47 posts per day, I guess I shouldn't be surprised...
I will leave this thread intact so that you may read this reply (and for the benefit of the rest of our members) but future such threads with an inordinate amount of one-line "updates" will be locked and or deleted on sight. You could have just as easily posted a pre-game, post-game discussion (and left it at that) or resurrected your recent Superbowl thread for all who were interested as opposed to the play-by-play commentary and constant bumpfest you turned this thread into.

At the end of the half-time show, Justin Timberlake tore off part of Janet's uniform. CBS cut away from the scene. Afterwards, CBS apologized once they received hundreds of calls on that scandalous (sic) event. That, AFAIK, is bad PR, no matter how you slice, or in the case, rip, it.
