It will be great if JERF associate itself with many travel agency that have destination into Japan. Not just it will help the members in here to see which travel agency that are reliable and that will ensure their voyage into Japan but also it will give benefit to JREF since JREF can ask for royalty for every tourist JREF provide to those travel agency.

While reviews on travel agencies or rating would be interesting and beneficial for members, I doubt JREF can remain unbiased if it receives royalty or commission from the agencies...

Just my thoughts.

Reviews and travel agencies rating just the same thing with associationg with them. I don't think you have thought that deep.

You suggested a financial arrangement. That can lead to charges of bias...which oddly enough is something you're already railing against here.

Perhaps you need to think a little more deeply yourself. At least be consistent.

What about those reviewers or who write the article about those travel agency or who rate it are come from those travel agency themselves?
It will not only biased but will totally benefit those travel agency.

I think we should make sure only true Japanese write the articles. After all, we can't trust non-Japanese to write them. At the very least, we should make sure they are all Asian.

Herbal Shin kun, no need to worry. ASIAN Hero is no more. A black hole swept by and too close that ex-(never-really-a) member strolled. . . and swoosh...no more particles in that configuration.

I, for one, think it is obvious enough that the starter of the thread is gone, so any suggestion being added here, will only tend to keep this thread as a convenient location for suggestions, rather than having a bunch of new threads all the time.

I like it that way; the tracks left by the originator being seen as comic relief, pose no problem. We do know that simply because a poster is no longer in legal posting range, any thread by that poster is not quite good enough to keep for some reason--just look at the 'Why You Should Be Banned' thread--is incorrect thinking.

I say, if you have a suggestion, and the one about ISBN numbers on books that are presented on JREF is a good and valid one (I haven't checked yet) yeah, go ahead and post it here. That's my view on it. MM
