Hi! I'm making a story in Japanese to practice. I need ot knwo certain words...here are some words i wanna know, and if u can, add whatever words u think i might need.

Once apon a time,... = mukashi mukashi...
Boy = otoko no ko
Girl = onna no ko
The End. = owari
they = korera
them = korera
those (people)=
oh = aa
oh my god! =
so,... =
(to) search [like in hide-and-go seek] = sagasu
Ready or not, here I come! =

If you can think of any tohers, please tell me! Thank you soo much! (When I finsish the story, I'll post it later, and if i have any mistakes, please correct me and tell em if you liek the story!)

According to my dictionary:
They = Karera
Them = The same as "they"
Those = Sono, Ano
Those ones = Sorera, Arera
Oh = Aa

The End = 終わり（おわり）
to search = 探す（さがす）

Or 探る (さぐる), depending on the circumstances.

I'm always glad to help, but I also subscribe to the ol' fishing tale. Give a man a fish (boy = 男の子) and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime.
Either post what you think the words should be or your completed story, and we'll gladly correct it.

furui = old, as in, old house. Could come in handy.

(not sure whether you might be going for this type of story, or not, though new vocabulary never hurts)

ひめ = princess
ばけもの = monster
あくま = devil, demon
ぶし = warrior
ぶき = weapon
りゅう = dragon

"Mukashi, mukashi" -- isn't mukashi closer to "a long time ago" rather than "once upon a time"?

EDIT:

By the way...
oh my god! = ああ、かみさま (although I'm not sure this works out for Japanese like it does in English)
Ready or not, here I come! = きます (literally 'come', but I'm sure it can be used as "here I come!")

You know. I'd think "A long time ago" and "Once upon a time" would be pretty much the same thing. Usually both are talking about something that happened long ago.

EDIT: Actually, I'd like to know as many story words as I can as well. Very interesting stuff. (Since I'm writing a story, and eventually plan to translate it to japanese.)
