Some questions involve writing, but they give a couple of example good/bad ones.

4級 is 小・中学生 level and the 読解 section could be particularly good practice for JLPT as the style is quite similar.

Is there any chance that 熟語 like the ones in 一級 and 二級 could make an appearance in the real JLPT N1?Things like, 「臥薪嘗胆」って初めてだから、怖い。。。

The upper levels of these certs are intended for well-educated native speakers, so way above what you're likely to see on JLPT. I can't remember but I don't think JLPT tests much 四字熟語

They completely lost me at the ゴミ仕分け question in the 5・6級. Doesn't bode well for the higher levels
