South Korea was beaten by Japan 3-0 in a friendly soccer match on Wednesday, recording the first game of its kind in the past 37 years.

At the friendly international held in Sapporo Dome, midfielder Kagawa Shinji scored the first point for Japan with a sharp right-foot finish after 34 minutes.
Honda Keisuke scored another point eight minutes into the second half, successfully making a left-foot shot, followed by Kagawa's second successful goal, which made the game 3-0.
