Saturday mail deliveries to be discontinued

Important news for those relying on JP: as of 1 October 2021 Saturday deliveries of regular mail (letters, postcards, "Yu-mail" and "Smart letter") will be discontinued, taking effect on 2 October. In addition, the standard delivery time for untracked mail will be extended by one day. Other mail using "express delivery", registered letters, overseas airmail parcels, etc. will continue to be delivered on Saturdays.
