Anyone here's my situation. I'm a three month high school exchange student in Sapporo. I'll really be honest here by saying that I want sex...now. Back home I'm 18 and finished school so I it seems alright to me to go look for a woman. My problem lies in how I would find a place, what kind of crazy excuse I would use if in fact I did succeed and spend the night with someone, and what might I do to improve my chances. Japanese skills are pretty low but I can do basic communication to people. Will the age thing be a problem? I look about 24. Another obstacle which might pose a problem is that everyone from my school knows me, and if seen going into a bar it won't be good for me. I consider myself goodlooking but I have some low selfesteem most of the time. I also stay with a host family who are very nice so I would have no idea what to tell them - ''Yeah so I'm just gonna uh...go out for a walk right now (dressed all nice) and I might return later tonight or not at all so see you''

Any advice appreciated.

join the club man, im an exchange student here in japan as well, I have been here 2 months as of yeseterday. Actually difference between me and you is that I'm not that keen on having sex here (not that the women aren't attractive, I think they are dead sexy just doesn't go with my beliefs)

I would assume you are living in a small town like myself, there isn't much you can do to solve the bar problem, unless you go into the city or something where there are heaps of clubs, also note there would be more women.
Oh and I have found beneath the innocennt facade of the japanese highschool students, the ones who are likely to see you are the ones who aren't so innoccent so don't sweat it to much.

I just thought of another problem. This just gets harder and harder. My house is on the very edge of Sapporo, about an hour to the entertainment district. How would I even get there? I'm not sure what time the subway closes and the buses stop but I doubt they run 24 hours.

On another note, Jieshi how's school for you? I find most of my classes extremely boring even though the kids in my class are fun. I've been one month and 2 days now but I feel school is restricting my experience a bit (I want to explore the city and not sit in a classroom all day)

I've been in Sapporo last Xmas, but I stayed with my friend there (a girl).But I saw a lot of people in the Susukino area and not only to shop ;-), and a lot of clubs .My motives were not to get laid in Japan, so I didn't have any interests in that.And the fact I stayed with my friend Sorry but I can't help you other than pointing you to Susukinh and at night there are still taxies, or you can just go by foot ^^' Where do you live now ? Makomanai ?(ﾂ真窶ｹﾃｮ窶愿?) or where?

1 hour from Susukino, that is the toughest question. Wondering if there must be some clubbing kids in your school.
First you should get the latest clubbing info at the following bars where no charge is required and I suppose they are non-Japanese friendly bars, I remember correctly:

Well......, this is out of the ordinary situation I think. When i was in japan 2 years ago, 18 at the time, I was in a summer school thingy, and I don't consider myself to be good looking as you,so i had a disatvantage, the girls there, in Tokushima at least, were very very open. After like a week many of them invited me to go Karaoke bars and clubs and what not, and I spoke no japanese besides hello, bye, thx, im mr foreign gaijin etc. We would party all nite, but id have to walk 1h 30min every morning on the way bak to my residence, but it was worth it, and cuz of that many of the japanese guys started to hang out with me so that they as well so that they could get some attention also. They also told me that every foreign guy that came there it was the same thing, they were inunated with proposals, many sexual, I can testify for that, but sometimes trust me you dont want attention from everyone.

One day even the teacher, a female, after class told me in english like that foreigners, ususally westerners, were very popular with the girls, and i said yeah it's a bit strange for me since i didn't get this attention bak at home, and she was like even well you are very charming, and i got even scared a bit cuz she was giving me like weird vibish looks but i didnt like her teeth so i was like heheh, gotta go......

Yeah well, to make this short I mean just take it easy a bit, put yourself open out there and u'll get luky soon enough....... japanese girls really surprised me, they seem innocent but..... well. I think soon enough girls are gona be all over u, i mean and i think im ugly at times, soo u prolly gonna get much lukier than me, just watch out, cuz disaseas are always there, but ya, i think u'll be in good hands...... hahahahha, yeah right, shiaaaat, japan is not the getting laid fairy land

Bah, Just have fun with the people you meet. You'll be surprised how far charisma will take you if you just be yourself. I would also consider learning the language it is a flattering aspect of foreigners to try to speak japanese. I have heard this countless times from Japanese natives.

lol everyone keeps talking about getting sex proposals lol. I have been here a little bit now and haven't recieved any lol. Now I know I am pretty decent looking (I'm not but ugly)and the girls seem to think I am attractive but I think i have pinpointed the problem..... I live in a pretty clean town lol. We don't have any bad *** students in our school because our school runs what is called a night school, this is where they send the ummm promiscious girls that do the bad girl things lol. They dont want trouble running through the school so they take them all at night to suggest to the community that these children don't exist.

Anyway be charismatic, charming the girls will love it. oh and in other threads we have mentioned the gentleman thing, opening doors for the girls etc. do it the girls at school freak when I stop and let them walk through before me.

Anyways, I don't know much about Japan from first hand experience, but i'd say i will have to align myself with what damicci said about being yourself and just let urself be open out there and see what comes up....... and I think it'd be a mistake if you try to rush anything, soo just enjoy your time there and have as much fun as u can
