I have a school assignment that requires me to compare what it is like to be a student in a Japanese university with a Western experience.
For example - professors here are very casual with students and will call them by first names although most students would only addressd the prof by in a more formal way ike DR. SoSo or Professor Soso. students do not stand up to address the prof or class. its very casual - ofetn people will just speak up and join in or challenge the prof...does this happen in Japan?
I am looking for little details so that I can make it into a video presentation...
can anyone share thier ideas or experiences??
