Request: Survey about older people?

Hi!
I'm currently writing a seminar paper about ageing in Japan and if ageing can be a threat to loosing one's position in society... one thing I wanted to add are beliefs and opinions from younger ppl about older ones... something like "They are lazy." "They are wise." or whatever...

Does anyone know (preferably accessible online) about any survey that goes in that direction? Japanese, English, German, French... any of these languages will do Newspapers (asahi, yomiuri) tend to do those kinds of surveys, but I don't really know what to look for in Japanese...

any hint is greatly appreciated

You can understand what the youths think of older people quickly. I cannot remember the Japanese, but in English it is:
Young ricestalks stand upright,
the mature grain bows low.

The youths don't have much respect, are a bit arrogant (as all of us teenagers are, well, most) and don't like tradition. They probably don't like the older generation who probably go on at them about tradition.

^Before you ask, this was an explanation on a website. Not my opinion (for once)
