I've been here for 5 months and right now I've noticed the reputation button!
I haven't added any reputation report to anybody yet, just for ignorance
whereas I have received some of them. I'm so sorry! clumsy of me!

I'll do it from now on!

If you get some reputation points from other members, you can see them in your personal profile. Even who was so kind to do it.

Today is the first time I have given rep and got an error message??
I get (right after giving rep) a vBulletin Message saying "You did not select any posts to which the action you picked can be applied." I never saw that before and now I wonder if the rep I gave out was really given??

I kinda wish this reputation limit would be removed...every time someone helps me (frequently) I want to thank them and I get this "must spread around more...".

I think when rep was first added we had problems with members giving each other rep back and forth for a false buildup. We also had negative rep which was mis-used and was done away with. Now-a-days, it seems to be almost forgotten.

Yeah, it sucks that you can't give rep points to the same person often.

But, given the history Frank described, I don't think we can do anything about it. If the restriction is lifted, the problems will probably come back as well.
