Releasing a CD in Japan

Hellow everyone,
I am new here today, am resident in Japan am aged 27, and from west africa.** I understand japanese a little and thing learning BUT I want to make it Big in Music especially j-pop and RnB..
I have carefully followed some discussion about how hard it is to be accepted by major recording labels in Japan.

I have some doubt which I want an experienced people on this forum to guide me with.
Is it not a good thing or rather advisable to self sponsor and produce an album for the Japanese market and break thru?

Yes, I hope someday, thats some one in the profession you talked about will emerge here and contribute to this thread.
