Relative clauses

I've learned that in Japanese we can make relative clauses like this:

あの眼鏡をかけた人が田中さんです。

But can we do the same thing with the -て form of a verb? For example, could we make a sentence with a similar grammatical structure incorporating "verb-て人"?

て should be followed by いる in case modifying a noun.
眼鏡をかけた人
眼鏡をかけている人

Or it needs to be followed by other verbs.

あの眼鏡をかけて立っている人が田中さんです。

Thus, -te form can't be connected directly to a noun.
