As much as I try to learn, I still struggle. The concept is so easy to me, sometimes, and then other times it's not =/

I keep running these two sentences through my head, and I know all the words, but I can't think of how to write them properly.

I'm staying in an inn near Kyoto .
I've decided to see the X and Y south of the station tomorrow.

(and yes, I'm familiar with every correct grammar aspect that should be in here, just the order throws me off)

Thanks if you can help.

京都に近い旅館に泊まっている。
明日、駅の南側にあるXやYに行くことにした。

I have taken a little bit of liberty with your original sentences with my translations. For example, yes, it's true that I changed the verb from "see" to "go" in the second sentence. If you don't like this, feel free to substitute "see" back in.
I hope this helps!

京都の近くの旅館 is also fine, although I don't think quite as common.
Oh yes, by no means was I trying to imply that my way is the only way to say that. Thank you!
