Read this for some major lulz

Oh wow that's quite something. I kind of understand why people could be shocked by those animes with quite young girls in 'love' situations, but this is nuts...

The fool who made the petition should watch Kodomo no Jikan tbh.

I must say I see their point. I once saw an anime version of Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot's Christmas. Absolute filth. 😲

When I first saw it I thoght WFT?, but thn I saw the words responsible christian at the bottom, so it figures. These are the same sort of people who rate Spirited Away as not suitable for children as it has demons (eek!) and a bare bottom in it (Yu Babas child).

Have a read of the sigs. I don't think there is much support for her.

Yeah rofl, funny how they see moral corruption in a bare arse, but not in a woman gives birth without the "assistance" of her husband.

LMAO! - although the scary thing is that they appear to be serious!

well this site was created by a "christian". personally i may offend some of you with my lack of interest in religion, however, i feel that sometimes they push their beliefs too far. you might be intersted in one choice, however, i have very different beliefs that you might hold dear. i won't accept your same choices, so therefore hate on me if you want for not believing in god.

Ok get something clear dude, this person may be Christian, but it's his own belief that this petition should go through, he does not represent the entire religion, in fact most likely there are many Christian anime fans who think this is just as ridiculous as the rest of us and where was he pushing his beliefs anyway?

Well considering America is quite a huge (is it the hugest after Japan I wonder, can someone tell?) consumer of anime, that has to hold true.

They are not pushing their religion onto you, nor the god, but their moral standards. They have used the term christian to try and hold the moral high ground.

haha this is why i don't have religious discussions.. it gets touchy when it comes to this matter.

however, like myself, this person is expressing their beliefes towards a certain matter. i respect people enough to let them believe in whatever they want, but i don't want anyone expressing their beliefs into me. you may want to discuss your opinions, but i'm not one to listen to them quiety. in other words, express things however you feel that you should, but when negative feedback comes your way, you just expect it as much as you would positive feedback.

They do not wish to hear criticism, they do not wish to see anything that might not correspond to their beliefs, and that is the difference. While on the non-religious side you will often see free speech arguments, religious people like to disguise arguments against free speech as arguments for it.

Not in this very case, but otherwise their overused method is to claim that someone has made defamatory remarks in respect of their wondrous religion, and for this reason they have the right to express their totally retarded views and claim that they have been discriminated against by an individual or a group expressing their bloody beliefs.
In Europe and especially in the UK one could comically say that a sentence of more than three words can qualify as hate speech.
EU judiciary and legislature are made up of coward maggots who when faced with the disapproval of religious groups, try to calm these groups, regardless of who was correct in law.
Your average person has been brainwashed by society into believing that whenever a bunch of gullible retards raises a complaint against hate speech, that must automatically be well-grounded.
Free speech normally includes the right to insult others so far as the insults are fueled by reality.
Anime might be insulting and blasphemous to religious folk, but simple disapproval does not constitute sufficient reason for the banning of anime.
If each time a group of degenerates felt displeased about something we removed that target of disapproval, we would soon create a world where the only thing worth doing would be to die.
