ichiban no anata is very strange. direct translation is more like "my best is you", whatever the heck that context is supposed to mean, I don't know.

There are many very considerate people here that are willing to help people out with getting something translated, I would suggest next time, even if in a rush, to take a moment and look over the site before blindly posting a question in the wrong section.

That's good advice. I am glad however that people helped you out, maybe next time you can return the favor to someone someday.

If you have sufficient reason to think the omitted context is "watashi no ichiban" (which I've never heard) I personally would translate that off the cuff as "You that are my best."

But nevermind. What the heck kind of response is that ? If you were honestly intent on a helpful reply, please cut the commentary and get to the information : "Ichiban no anata" is a legitimate, commonly heard phrase. Unfortunately, it is difficult to translate in isolation." We throw out similar lines constantly in the Japanese Learning subfora.

An OP that is looking for a deeper understanding will bother to do the necessary follow up.
