What does this mean?

"kitaa". Sort of like, "yes!", more literally "(it/he/she/whatever) came (arrived)".
It's used on the net, on message boards like 2chan etc.

So you would answer a question or something with Kitaa?

Like if someone asked you "Do you like to swim?" you would say "Kitaa des"? or something along that lines?

Oh, no.
"kitaa" is like an exclamation, use when something good happens.. it's like, "yes! got it!"
It doesn't actually mean "yes".

If someone asked you a question like that, just say a normal "yes" (hai).

Aw i see,

I studied abit of japense language, and i know "des" means period and "deska"(sp?) means Question Mark.

So does Kitaa the ending of the sentence like that or does it literaly mean "YES!" Not just the !.

That sounds like Pimsleur talk.

"Desu" does not mean period. It can be used kind of like "is" (the verb "to be"). But, I think, more correctly it is a coupula which is a grammatical thing of it's own.

"ka" ｢か」 can be thought of as a question mark, but really it's a particle, not a punctuation. "no" 「の」 can also be used to make a sentence a question.
