I was wondering if anyone can clarify the use of 買ったまま in the following examples.
- Wouldn't " ビールを買って飲まなかった。" have the same meaning without まま? I don't get the use of it here.
- I found this sentence somewhere on google, so I'm not sure if it's accurate.
- I'm pretty sure that it means that the manga is "as bought", just want to confirm.

まま really emphasize the fact that a state is kept as is as the next action happens. If you interpret in English then often there will be no difference. This expression does not really exist in English.

そのまま sometimes can be interpreted to mean 'as is'.
