I am currently studying Japanese, and work in a store in London frequented by tourists. Recently, I am trying to use the courage to assist Japanese customers in Japanese, as we often get those who speak little to no English and as well as practising I'd like to be able to give them more help. More generic phrases I've managed to find, but I'd be grateful for some help with the following. (No romaji).
"Would you like to taste this tea/hot chocolate?"
"Would you like to smell the tea?"
"It is £___ for __grams."
"This is loose tea/teabags."
"Who is the gift for?"
Also, a lot of customers ask advice on what to give their father, sister etc. So perhaps the correct way to refer to a customer's family members? Any help is appreciated.
