Questions about the government, etc.

Well i have some questions:

1. What kind of government does Japan have? (Description, not just name)
2. Is Japan's president (or emperor...i don't know which) like president Bush?

Me and my mom want to move to Japan (of course not together <_<) and she said nothing's happening unless we know those answers. And my we both HATE Bush. Any other useful information is appreciated. Thank you!

Well darling, I don't know much about Japan's political system, however from I've learned it seems to be more of a parliament democracy. But then I'm probably wrong.
