Question regarding accomodations in Tokyo

Next year I will be travelling to Japan and I am wondering just how expensive accomodations in Tokyo will be. I wouldn't need much, just a place to sleep and perhaps a television. I am looking for hotel accomodation prices. If any of you could help, it would be appreciated. Thank you.

I found Hotel Tsukuba in the Ueno area through them and it cost me only 5,000 yen (around $47.00) per night. The room was small (my cubicle at work seemed to be about the same size as the sleeping area) but it had its own bathroom. As I did little entertaining, it worked out just fine for me. It did have a television set.
