haha I think what everyone is trying to say is this question simply cannot be answered... everyone's "type" is different and you can't say what one "asian guy" likes is the same as what another likes. Everyone is individual.. Right? 
This is a problem I have when guys ask me "what do girls like?" or "what do girls think about this.." ... Do they want me to answer on behalf of every other woman on the earth?

I think this is probably true more often than not in Japan, although the women are just as often to blame IMO as the men....but asking about the whole of Asia is only a little worse than asking about all of North American men (from the Arctic to Mexico).Osaka_night_cherry said:

let us (us=me and others you do not see here right now) explain it the other way round: asian girls are not exclusively looking for rich men which are attractive as well, and are luxerious car/big house owners.
my skills for intelligent conversations are most likely appreciated.

i disagree to what the previous posters wrote. if i get the opportunity, i am going to ask japanese guy: "what are you most likely expecting from a girlfirend"- and going to let you know, too.

I have had several instances where people ask me do I like just asian women. Even last night I was with two female friends that were japanese (j-girls omgwtfhotn355) and one asked me Do you like asian women in japanese. It took me a bit by surprise as this was the first time we hung out and I thought that was a pretty bold question. So I had to explain to her my opnion on questions like that and I don't like "just" asian women. She understood but I kinda felt like it wasn't an appropriate question to ask especially when your around just asian women.
Then we got into the discussion about how many americans they think are looking for just asian women. I laughed pretty hard b/c I had to refer back to some of threads on this forum. I totally agreed with them. I also wanted to make clear that I wasn't just hanging out with them b/c they are asian women. Still it left a bad vibe for a moment b/c I started to second guess why I was hanging out with them and what they were thinking at the time.

Well I believe that there are cultural differences though.
I read in an article that in South Africa, men don't like women who can produce ... you know, secretions
when they are aroused. So they practice something called dry sex, in which women put all these toxic things into their vagina, so they will not get wet when having sex. (Pretty strange if you ask me) I don't think that is something that men from any other nation look for in a woman. On an unrelated note though, that article also mentioned that men from there believe if you wear a short skirt or anything provocative, you are telling them you want them to have sex with you.. Strange...
