What do I want on my site? Hmm. You'll see from my pages that I'm not very good with ideas.
But maybe the following two ideas might sow a seed for someone else to come up with a good idea. (So that窶冱 TWO things I窶冦 asking for now; a good story-line, AND someone to make an anime!)
There are lots of hits to my rokuyo page (
ROKUYO – Lucky & Unlucky Days of the Japanese Calendar) . I think that's a load of nonsense but each to his own. How about a little anime story, starting with a calendar page. Six square days on the calendar fall off into blackness at the bottom of the screen. Six pairs of eyes blink in the darkness, so we know they are still there. Each "day" then lights a paper lantern and each of the six lanterns features one of the six rokuyo character sets: 先勝, 友引, 先負, 仏滅, 大安, 赤口. They dance around a bit until they窶决e in the usual line-up: sakigachi, tomobiki, sakimake, butsumetsu, taian, shakku. Then the sun comes up and they jostle for position. Sakigachi, Tomobiki and Taian like the morning so they push the others out of the way. The sun reaches zenith and noon lovers Taian and Shakku scrabble for the best position. Then it's afternoon and Sakimake and Tomobiki do the queue jumping. Finally it's night again, the sun sets and everyone falls down exhausted. Not a very funny story line, but with the right looking characters and movement, it could look pretty good.
Alternatively窶ｦ At many weddings the bride starts weeping. She is embarrassed by that of course, but other attendees probably think it's rather cute. Maybe a funny anime on my site could be useful in saying 窶廩ey, crying is good. Don't worry, just enjoy a good sob.窶 It starts with a groom walking down the aisle. Then the father and bride come in. All the guests窶 faces light up. The bride starts weeping. She walks down the aisle to the front and the wedding starts. As soon as the minister starts speaking, her weeping increases. Then the vows. Now she窶冱 really crying. Mum starts too. Then the ring exchange. The wailing is a waterfall now and a puddle builds up on the floor. More people start crying, the puddle builds to a pool, the water level rises, everyone starts swimming.
Now the view is from the outside. Typical English village church - steeple, three arched windows and a door. You can see in the windows the water sloshing about, people swimming, (maybe one or two sailboards, and of course, a Jaws shark fin). Then the gigantic Monty Python style hand of God slides out from the side of the screen, grabs hold of the steeple and pulls it sideways like a slot machine handle. The images in the three windows spin round like those of a slot machine and stablise one after the other (on a wedding bell of course). Then the church door opens and everyone pours out. Not sure of a witty punchline to this story though...
For any story, the characters can toddle off to credit the anime artist and his/her website.
So. Anyone out there willing to do this little project for me?
