Hi! I received a parcel from a friend in Japan today, and I'm writing to her to let her know I received it.

1) How would you say "thoughtfully/ carefully put together"? 大事に作られた(プレセント)? 親切に?

2) Would the correct word for parcel/ package (what you receive in the mail) be "小包"?

Which "put together" do you mean?

1. Packaged/wrapped as a unit
2. Several items collected together
3. One item assembled from parts

Yes to 小包

Items assembled together in a parcel.

She sent me a package with various items in it she thought I'd like (sweets, pictures, gifts) and I want to say it was thoughtfully put together.

No, that's great. We're helping each other with languages and we talk fairly informally, so that's more than enough.
