Hey everyone,
I will be staying in Japan for 4 months for a student exchange program. I looked into to it a little bit and it looks like it would be cheaper and easier for me to get the prepaid service that Softbank offers.
What I want to know is how difficult will it be for me to get the service?
I looked on their website for required documents and it seems that I'll have them covered (I'll have a passport, student ID, health insurance card). I'll be staying in a "dorm" that the school rents out for students so I'm guessing I can use that as my address.
I read and hear that its a hassle for foreigners to get a cellphone in Japan if they aren't there that long. Will 4 months count as long enough?
Thanks in advance for any help!
