Police arrest foreign-looking Japanese


shouldn't have stopped taking her medication then.....
although some J-police have been a little slow....

Crazy stuff. Even if the woman was being uncooperative they should have done a backround check before they arrested her.

Do you think they do a background check on actual foreigners' status of residence before asking them their gaikokujin tourokushou and arrest them for interrogation if they don't have it on them ?
 
seems like japanese ppl are very racist... too bad. are they?
 
Japanese typically are indifferent to " outsiders " through out history,with a few would reach out to other peoples and cultures
 
Unfortunately Japanese police doesn't have any psychic powers to conduct a background check for ridiculously uncooperative people, though a case law stipulates your right to silence even includes your name and address.
