Plate From WWII

I have attached an image of a metal plate my grandfather brought back from the war. No one in the family has any clue why he brought it back or what it says and unfortunately he died before I had the chance to ask. I was hoping that if I could find out what was written on it, it might shed some light as to why he brought it back.

That's an instruction manual of a hydraulic pump to operate a plane's landing gear.
