Hello, everyone! I've been a member of JREF for quite a while now but accessing and using the website for the first time now; I'd usually browsing through the members' forum topics through twitter all this time.
I happened to notice the JREF Essay Contest and after my mother and friend encouraged me, I decided to give it a shot; though there's just two more days till the deadline. I'm sure I can whip up something qualitative as I believe that passion for the language is what keeps you driven to strive forward no matter how much time you still have.
I'm still seventeen years old. So I wondered if I can even join the contest or not. And I didn't know how to contact JREF about my query given its my first time here on the website. So I decided to put up a thread to see if anyone else has an interest to join this contest or has already joined the contest, meaning if any of you has plans for participation or have already participated and submitter your entries, could please help me out with my doubts ASAP.

Helloﾂ！I just came across this contest a few days ago. Though there are still just about two days for the deadline to end, I still think I can whip up something qualitative as I believe that my passion for Japanese is quite strong enough to pull through^^ﾂ But I've a few questions, please. The primary one being whether if I could participate as I am still under age; I am still seventeen years old. I would really be very grateful if you could please clear out my one query! I'm a seventeen year old girl, in the last year of high school from India. Thanks in anticipation!
