The Torino olympic opening was not as good as the Salt Lake City one. My opinion of course. But what about the whole so far? What does everyone think about the winter games now in Torino, compared to Salt Lake City, Utah?

I think it was great for Utah to get on the map like that. It helped with tourists and provided Utah with a sense of appreciation. I actually had the torch run right past my house and I got to hold it (the torch) when it got past to a diff person. (the flame wasn't in it of course when I held it). I think it's good for a not so well known place in the world to get a chance of a lifetime.

I'm afraid I've sort of lost interest in opening ceremonies for both summer and winter games. What does concern me about these games right now is that it's day 8, right?, and Japan has yet to win one medal of any kind. Has that happened before? They sure did a lot, LOT better in Salt Lake City.

.

Yeah, they did. They were one of the top gold winners weren't they?

But I'm not sure if it's happened before. I'm sure they will soon though.

Sasha Is HOT!!

I respect the hell out of Ice Skaters. They are twisting and turning and flying around on a slippery surface. I coudn't do it, I wouldn't even dare. Especially when it's the couple skating. Lifting and being lifted. Dang, now that is Guts.
