As in 罰金を課せられる.
At first i thought it was a 課させられる in it's shortened form (with omitted さ), but then it won't make sense in sentences like 彼は1万円の罰金を課せられた。which would mean that "he was forced to impose a fine" instead of "a fine was imposed on him", for which 彼は1万円の罰金を課された should be right. What am i missing here?
