I wanna hear some non-English rock bands
for example,I wanna try some Spanish,Italian,Russian...whatever
NO JAPANESE VISUAL ROCK

I've tried a few Spanish rock bands
Heroes del Silencio
Mana
Janguares

I want some bands with cool guitar playing

dont go for russian (really, they are crap)

does Welsh count as non-Engish (i know they would), lost prophets.
:D :D

if you want cool guitar playing, stick to English and American (Jimi, Led) for electric and spanish for classical (Gipsy Kings).

Try these Thai bands:
Catarock (Jirasak Parnpoom), Big ***, Loso, Taxi.

The first two are modern produced heavy metal (but they have also created their fair share of ballads) and the latter two are more mellow rock (allmost folk).

You could also check out Zeal, which is basicly a Thai version of Linkin Park.

Try "Die Aerzte" ("the doctors", punk rock) from Germany. Although, I wonder what you mean by "cool guitar playing". Maybe "Rammstein" would suit you better?
If you consider Hendrix' or Prince' guitar playing as cool, the 2 above won't fit you.

by 'cool guitar playing' I mean...um..
I am into Bon Jovi,B'z,Satriani and Vai,Yngwie stuffs,
I like interesting guitar sounds :-)

Bon Jovi, hmmm? Can't say I ever heard of the others.

Rammstein is surely interesting - if you hear them the 1st time. Then it might get boring (to me at least). The "Aerzte" are probably not really your stuff either. For a punk rock band they have mastered their instruments very well, but it's still punk rock. I suppose, you need to understand the lyrics. Oh, well...

when I was in Japan, I heard this Swedish(I think) band on the radio...

they're called "Mew"

they're not too hard...but they're awesome!

I bought their cd before I left....haven't found it anywhere in the U.S. yet

Thats not a simple task today, if......

......you are "into ........ Satriani and Vai,Yngwie stuffs,".

Rock music seems to sleep actually - the old guitar masters like Vai or Malmsteen aren't heard so often today, and the guitar players of the new bands that I know all lack the skills of the named axe-men..... ;-)

I don't know any new band that features a good guitar player, therefore here some of the older" ones... ;-)

Eric Johnson
Michael Schenker (UFO, Scorpions)
Roy Buchanan
Santana
Chester Thompson (Santana)
Andy Parker (UFO)
Brian Downey (Thin Lizzy)
Johny Winter
Frank Zappa
Eagles
Major (BAP)

B'z is an extremely popular rock group in Japan, with influences of Led Zeppelin,Aerosmith and some others, they play everything from hard rock to pop,pop rock, dance

the guitarist Tak Matsumoto have formed TMG with American musicians, and released the debut album TMG 1,playing some classic rock style with modern feel, great album 👍

DT I think I love you. :D you like Mana? I love them!!! I have one CD that I got in El Salvador. It's called Revolution de amor *_* try Bacilos too and cafe tacuba. they're super good too ^______________^

If B'z is that versatile, I might check them out. If I have any bandwidth left at the end of the month, that is.

You could try locating Thirty Odd Foot Of Grunts. They're an Australian rock band.

Steven Seagal is also making an album of some kind in France. Pretty popular from what I hear.
