Newbie's First Post

Hello everyone! Konnichiwa! Hajimemashite

I'm glad I stumbled upon this forum. I am very fascinated with Japan. I have been there once although I think I was too young to remember much. I plan to go back sometime this year, perhaps in October. I've also recently just started taking some Japanese lessons. All seems to be going well and I hope to learn some more from this site.

Hi Half-n-half. Thanks for the welcome! Very nice to meet you.

We were only there for four days and spent most of our time in Tokyo. We went to the Ginza district, and of course Disneyland. I remember going to a mausoleum of a Japanese hero or general and also visiting a town outside Tokyo. I have to say I enjoyed that the most. So the next time I go to Japan, I think I will make it a point to spend more time outside the cities.
