Hi!
I have some questions about japanese language!
Kanji is a symbol who stands for word, for example Dragon is Ryuu.
There are also katakana and Hiragana.
Katakana has about 40 symbols, each symbol means one or more characters like a, chi etc.. right?
And there are Hiragana, what is the difference between katakana and Hiragana, for what are thay used for?

And another question. For example when Japanese talk they have only one meaning for word, for example god is kami and that's it right? Or when you write it in Kanji its kami and when you write it in katakana or hiragana does it has the same spelling kami or in for example katakana it is spelled different? Does it change words spelling or meaning if I write it in different character set? I hope you will understand my question! Thank you!

The mean the same sounds - but katakana is generally used for words of non-Japanese origin

I think you're a little confused on what Kanji are here.
