Hi all. I've used japanreference before but never looked into the forums until today. I don't know how often I'll check back but in any case I'm here now.

I studied Japanese for three years and then lived in Tokyo in the 1990's for over 5 years working as a database/software person. Now I'm back in Michigan (Detroit metro area). I am conversationally comfortable with Japanese and still use it every day with my spouse but never forced quite enough kanji into my brain to pass the JLPT level 2. A current goal is to find an I.T. position in this area where I can utilize my Japanese skills as well. I haven't been looking that hard but if you have any leads, please let me know.
