Question Need help with translation

How would You translate the following in natural but formal Japanese?
"
It is easy to notice the flaws of others, and also voicing opinions concerning them.
In most cases, people think they are being kind to say things, others might find difficult or unpleasant to say.
"

I would say the first bit would be along the lines:
他人 の 欠点 を 発見する のは 簡単な こと だし、それに対して 意見 を いうのも 簡単 です。
ほとんどの場合に、。。。

And from here on I have trouble, with all the conjugations and similar wordings andso on.. for example can I say "hokabito" instead of "tanin"

Your first sentence it understandable as is. There might be a better way to say it, but I'm not exactly sure about the overall intent of the sentences. The two sentences are meant to be a criticism of people who say difficult/unpleasant things?

Actually it is an excerpt from "Hagakure" by Tsunetomo Yamamoto, German edition. didn't manage to find a dual lang version, so I translate it myself, nyozegamon.
It is basicaly about the proper way to point at the flaws of others..

Ahh, I see. Here is the full passage. It's written in slightly classical Japanese, which is somewhat different than how it would be written today.

およそ人の上の善悪を見出すは易き事なり。それを意見するもまた易き事なり。

大かたは、人の好かぬ云ひにくき事を云ふが親切のやうに思ひ、それを請けねば、力に及ばざる事と云ふなり。

Wow, that is actually very ancient, even though I recognize almost all the the kanji characters, which might be because the author was a monk ^^
I will not ask where you got it from, but thanks

No problem, I got it from the internet (as usual). I put 葉隠 and some other key words...maybe 人に意見 or something like that into the search engine.
