They came to an agreement. They might agree or disagree with the topic they are talking about, but anyway their opinion was unified.

In Japanese, it doesn't say anything at all as far as being a word you can translate goes. Maybe in Chinese.

The meaning of the character is to "reside". What the hell it is doing there all by its lonesome and what the idjit who got it thought it meant is a mystery.
 
Hi! I was watching something where the character says:"娘をあんな風にしたこと"
and the translation was "What I have done to your daughter".
I know we don't translate all words but why anna fuu ni is not included in that translation? My novice self had understood it differently, I thought he was saying he made her that way.

The agent differs depending on the context. The speaker, addressee, or third person are all possible.
娘 usually refers to the speaker's daughter, as you interpreted. However, if the agent is not the speaker, the interpretation "the agent's daughter" is also possible (e.g. お前がお前の娘をあんな風にしたこと or 彼が彼の娘をあんな風にしたこと).
The given translation is for 娘にしたこと, so your interpretation is correct also in this point.
 
The daughter is not the daughter of the speaker, but addressee, However the speaker is the one who raised her and perhaps didn't do a good job. It's really 娘を or not 娘に, so the way I understood it, was she turned out that way because of the speaker/or else, but the translation in English makes you think that perhaps the speaker did something else to the daughter. If I change 娘 for 宿題, would it be:
宿題をあんな風にしたこと : I did my homework that way
宿題にあんな風にしたこと : I did something like that to my homework
Doesn't make much sense, but it's just an example.
 
It's not really possible to answer this with just a sentence fragment, but it seems you correctly understand あんな風に to mean basically 'like that / that way'.

"娘をあんな風にしたこと" then essentially means 'Treated the daughter that way'. Depending on the full context, 'What I have done to your daughter' is a perfectly reasonable natural phrase meaning essentially the same thing so there doesn't seem to be a problem here.

Precisely why it's 'What I have done to your daughter' instead of 'How I acted towards your daughter' or 'The way I treated your daughter', etc, etc, is dependent on the rest of the sentence and context.
 
It's the trick, there is no more to the sentence or the context, so it could have a double meaning.
 
した actually means 成長させた/育てた in that sentence, if the speaker raised her. Besides, there is no problem that the speaker calls her 娘 since he/she raised her. It's simply the given translation is wrong.

Probably it's a dialect. ひ is pronounced as し in Edo/Tokyo dialect. Also, in The Lord of the Rings, the Japanese translation of Gollum's words "my precioussss" is いとしいしと.
 
I came across what seems to be an expression:
どこに出したって恥ずかしくない
どこに出しても恥ずかしくない
And the translation given was "won't embarrassed himself" but that seems a bit off to me. Could be an expression meaning instead : Special, one of the best, of quality? Or "to be proud of" if it's about a person?

Looks like 淡路島 (Awajishima), the name of a Japanese island. Not entirely sure of the first character or why anyone would give it to a woman giving birth.

It is just a sign indicating the origin of the souvenir dolls, most likely.

I was surprised and gratified when I saw that the Japanese writing we were being asked to translate was Japanese writing for a change instead of Chinese.
