Technically, you should put "the final tale" or however you want to translate it, at the beginning to make it sound right in English. Perhaps, "This is the final tale, an era in which..."

Partly correct! なく is a form of ない used in compound form:Ed E said:. The biggest thing that's confusing me is the 'なく' at the end of the second line - my guess is that it's some sort of form of 'ない', as in the informal negative form of arimasu. A wrong assumption?

Conversely, there is an equivalent for ある, too:

My translation:
This is a final tale of the age in which it was believed... etc.
The original is written in the style of "advertising copy" or "movie slogan (catch copy?)" and does not follow standard order.

And I know what 7hon means, but I just can't figure out the exact meaning in the context. It's an article about Shinya of Dir en grey, if that might help people, and this discusses their photo shoots.
