I have some problems with a few sentences, don't like when verb forms are not the usual one you find in texte books ^^

Some girls talking about not being together in college, hoping being together to have some fun altogether:

- 同じ三年間なら楽しいに越した事ァねえやな

-゛今日も何かあるんじゃねぇか゛なんて

- 毎日わくわくできりゃそんだけで結構一日楽しめらな

So, I try:

- If we will be together in third year, we will have fun! (fun things will happen).
- Like "what will happening today" ?
- Everyday, we'll be excited, and we will be able to enjoy more time that only one day (=> surely wrong translation....)

Isn't there a typo in 楽しめらな? It's barely comprehensible, but not so common.

Whether it's fun or not, we have to spend three years (in high school, maybe?). Then, it must be the best to spend fun three years.

This 同じ doesn't mean "together". 同じ～なら works as a kind of set phrase.
Whether it's fun or not, they(= fun three years and not-fun three years) are the same three years. Then...

～に越した事はない: it's the best ~

越す／超す（こす）の意味 - goo国語辞書


"今日も何かあるんじゃないか"なんて
Like "Something (fun) might happen also today."


毎日わくわくできればそれだけで結構一日楽しめるだろうな
If we can be excited (about what might happen) everyday, we will be able to somewhat enjoy the day.

It's from the game Heroes Phantasia's tutorial.

From what I understand, it's something like:

As for effective period, things that change in continuous number of turns and two types of effectively things which are in the middle of specific action.

I don't really know what it means.
 
There are two types of period of (something's) effect; 1. the change occurs over several turns and 2. the effect is available only during specific actions.

I've searched the word, and got a result that it would be impossible to translate. Probably コンがセルン is originally from コンツェルン(Konzern/concern), but it's hard to tell why this word was said in the context without knowing the whole episodes of the conte ビバリとルイ or maybe the program ピカルの定理. Anyway, the word itself has no meaning at all.

I'm not really sure how best to translate 儚い in this context.

A- あつい！！ 君なんで窓閉めきってるんだい
B- いや、冷房入ってるかと思ってな
A- もー 大丈夫か
B- いや、だめだ
A(?)- 儚い！！

Any ideas?
 
The following two have been bugging me all day, someone tried to help but I just couldn't be helped, would you please translate the following :

1) ファーブルは、不思議に思うことがあったら、自分で確かめず にはいられない子もでした。特に、虫のことになったら 、夢中です。

2) ファーブルの手伝いをしていた羊飼いの青年が、先が尖ったフ ンの玉を持ってきます。

Is from a first grade elementary book with several mini biographies, this one about Jean Henri Fabre who studied bugs among other things.
 
I thought this was a "I give up" kind of thread where people would just get Japanese translated.

In any case, sorry for the inconvenience.
 
It does provide a good example of what I often point out is the error of assuming that books intended for Japanese children must be linguistically simpler and therefore good reading/learning materials for beginning Japanese language learners.

The fact that they are aimed at younger minds means they are thematically simpler....not linguistically simpler.

The typical first-grade student's capacity for handling grammatical complexity is miles ahead of what the beginning foreign learner will have encountered or be capable of grasping without significantly more study....a fact which is exasperating and humbling.
 
Hmm, 儚い doesn't make sense to me in that context.
 
I agree with you but I am not particularly assuming anything about these books. I decided to start using native material and since I had to start from somewhere, first grade seemed about right. There are some graded readers around but these are just as good (better since these are actual books intended for natives), cheaper and have more content.

I have no idea what とあっちゃ means, so I can only guess:
''With this battle oracle of God, simply I cannot lose!''

Also this:
今日もいいのを一発かましてやるぜ！

My idea would be:''Today is good to do one-shot oven!''

Is it correct?

I hope you can help with this sentence someone sent me.

完成 させます

Now, I figured this was; kansei sasemasu and was roughly translated to "completion/accomplish" and then "made to"

It doesn't really make sense to me though.

Can you help give it a bit of meaning? The context was some guy asked me to send an email, and I did. If that helps.

He is going to see through to completion whatever it was you asked him to or whatever he was supposed to do. The actual "what" is known only to you two; there isn't enough context for us to guess.

the sword/swordplay for certain death, which cuts off obstacles with using a demon

あっちゃ is a contracted and colloquial form of あっては.

Since it's the oracle of the God of War, I can't lose (this battle) easily.

かまして is the -te form of a verb かます. It's nothing to do with 窯.

I'll give you/them a good crack also today!

Are there any typos/misreadings in 儚い?
Were they still talking about the air-conditioning after the third line, too?
